In this course, you will learn how to approach sex therapy cases with clients from the Latine diaspora. Latine experiences encompass a wide range of expressions and views on sexuality, shaped by culture, history, and personal identity. You will explore these perspectives and understand how they may influence the outcomes of sex therapy. The course also examines community dynamics and the impact of intergenerational teachings on sexual expression and perception. You will gain tools, insights, and critical questions to ask yourself as a sex therapist to ensure your practice is inclusive and responsive to the needs of Latine clients.
