In the Sex Therapy and Andean Healing Training and Retreat we will explore different ways of viewing sexuality from a pluriverse perspective. This course will assist participants to learn about sexuality from ancient cultures and how expressions of sexuality can be diverse based on cultural background as well as geographical location. The course will teach participants how Andean culture perceives the connection to the natural elements and how this can be incorporated into sex therapy. During the retreat part of the event, participants will experience Andean energy healing and the benefits of this modality.
SCHEDULE
The full program starts on Wednesday July 4th at 9am after breakfast, and it ends on July 11th upon arrival to the city of Cusco. The price for the retreat includes lodging (from July 3rd), food, and ground transportation. Except for lunch and dinner on the free day in Cusco on Monday July 7th.
The second part of the program starts Tuesday July 8th around 8:30am after breakfast and it ends on July 11th upon arrival to the city of Cusco. The price for the retreat includes lodging (from July 3rd), food, and ground transportation (if you choose only the second part of the program-transportation to the hotel on the day of arrival not included).
The retreat and training program includes morning yoga on the first 3 days, 15 AASECT CE training hours, ceremonies, ceremonial mishas woven by the Quero community in the high Andes, and free time to study, or explore.

Activities: Exploration of the Andean cosmology and its application to wellness and sexuality, a look into sex therapy from a holistic perspective, ancient worldviews on sexuality, the use of ancient healing modalities in sex therapy, sexuality from a pluriverse perspective, and exploration of sex therapy cases.
- Day 4 (July 7, Free day)
- Day 5-8 (July 8-11, Cusco, Pacchanta, and Ausangate)
Activities: Travel to the mountains, visit to thermal hot spring, Andean cosmology, Andean healing ceremonies, initiation ceremony, trekking to the sacred mountain and lakes, Andean principles, and energy healing.
TRANSPORTATION
Your flight needs to be booked to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in Cusco. We have arranged shuttles from the Cusco airport on the day before (July 3rd) the full program starts. If you are participating in the first half or full program (9 nights) the first shuttle will depart around 11am and the second shuttle no later than 2:30 pm. The exact times will depend on when it’s most convenient for the group. Shuttles will take you to Urubamba, about 35 miles (1.5 hrs. from Cusco). If you choose only the second part of the program, transportation to the hotel in Cusco is not included but we can assist coordinating this.
If your arrival or departure differs from these arranged times, we can help you coordinate a private shuttle.

MEALS
All meals are included with lodging on the days that there are activities involved except on the free day in Cusco on Monday July 7th. Dietary requirements must be communicated in advance so we can communicate with the hotels to ensure needs are met.

If for some unforeseen reason you must cancel your journey, payments made are non-refundable. Pachamama Retreat, Training and Healing Center STRONGLY recommends that you purchase travel insurance. TRAVEL INFORMATION
When traveling outside of your home country, be sure you have all appropriate documentation and are prepared for any fees required by the country of your destination. Peru travel information: A passport valid for six months is required to enter Peru. Tourists must also provide evidence of return or onward travel.
Travelers to Peru will receive a card from Peruvian Immigration upon arrival stating the length of approved stay (usually 90 days).
SIGNED RELEASE AGREEMENT
Once you have decided to participate a release agreement will be forwarded to be signed and the first payment will be due.
