In this course, you will explore new approaches to sex therapy through a decolonial lens. Decolonial methods of healing have long existed, yet the attempted erasure of these practices during colonization continues to shape the way we engage in therapeutic work today. As therapists and educators trained within colonial institutions, we have often been disconnected from the original, community-rooted knowledge systems. This course invites you to begin a process of relearning—one that honors these ancestral ways and expands our understanding of healing beyond the individual mind. By integrating decolonial approaches into our practice, we can deepen our work with clients and support more holistic paths to healing.
